Questions, answered honestly

All 10 of the things people actually ask before signing up — including the ones where the answer is “not yet”.

What is Booknexo?

Booknexo is online booking software for appointments. Each business gets its own booking page — on a Booknexo web address or its own domain — plus a dashboard for staff and the calendar, automatic confirmations and reminders, and an optional listing in the Explore directory. There is no commission on bookings.

It is built for service businesses that run on appointments: barbers, hair and nail salons, spas, clinics, physiotherapists, cleaners and other mobile trades, personal trainers, tutors and online coaches.

It is not event ticketing, restaurant table management, or a marketplace that takes a cut of your work and keeps your clients' details.

Questions people ask before signing up

What is Booknexo?

Booknexo is online booking software for appointment businesses. You get your own booking page in your own colours, a dashboard for your calendar and staff, automatic confirmations and reminders, and an optional listing in the Explore directory — with no commission on bookings.

Who is Booknexo for?

Barbers, hair and nail salons, spas, clinics, physiotherapists, cleaners and other mobile trades, personal trainers, tutors, and online coaches who need 24/7 online appointment booking without marketplace commission fees.

How much does Booknexo cost?

There is a free plan for one person and up to 100 bookings a month. Paid plans start at €19 per month and go up to €99 for multi-staff businesses that want their own domain and online payments. There is never a commission on bookings. See https://booknexo.com/pricing for current plans.

Do reminders work straight away?

Email confirmations and reminders work from the moment you take your first booking, sent by Booknexo under your shop's name with replies coming to you. If you would rather they came from your own email address, connect a free Resend, SendGrid, Brevo or Mailgun account. Text messages and WhatsApp do need your own Twilio or WhatsApp Business account.

Can I try Booknexo before signing up?

Yes. https://booknexo.com/demo links to real Booknexo storefronts you can book a test appointment on without creating an account, alongside screenshots of the dashboard the shop owner uses.

Does Booknexo take a commission on bookings?

No. Booknexo charges a subscription. You keep 100% of your service revenue (payment processor fees may still apply when you accept card payments).

Can I use my own domain?

Yes on Pro plans. You can connect a verified custom domain so customers book on your own website address instead of a Booknexo subdomain.

How do customers find my business?

Mostly you share your own booking link or QR code — in your social bio, on the counter, in the window. Booknexo also has an optional directory your shop can be listed in, though it is new and small, so treat it as a bonus rather than a source of customers.

Is Booknexo a marketplace like Treatwell or Fresha?

No. Booknexo is your own branded booking system. You own your customer data. Explore is an optional directory, not a commission marketplace that controls your clients.

What industries does Booknexo support today?

Appointment and service businesses: beauty and barbering, wellness, clinics, mobile home-visit trades, and online/virtual services. It is not event ticketing, museum ticketing, marina berth management, or full restaurant POS software.
